應具備要件：

二、專長領域:1.半導體物理(實驗優先)、半導體元件、半導體製程及相關領域或2.核磁共振影像(MRI)、醫學影像物理、生醫影像分析。本系已建置半導體實驗室與核磁共振影像(MRI)實驗室,歡迎具相關研究能力者加入團隊,共同推動本系特色實驗室之教學與研究發展。

三、具博士學位(國內外皆可)。

四、具備獨立從事研究與指導學生之能力。

五、具備開設物理系相關課程之專長,且願意參與本系教學、研究與服務工作。

六、能協助發展半導體或 MRI 相關研究實驗室者尤佳。

七、曾有國科會計畫、國際合作或產學合作經驗者尤佳。

八、須能英文授課。

Faculty Position Announcement – Department of Physics, Fu Jen Catholic University

Position Title: Full-time Faculty Position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above (Tenure-track / Contract Teaching Faculty)
Qualification: Ph.D. required
Number of Positions: Two (2)
Starting Date: Beginning of the Fall Semester, Academic Year 2026 (August 2026)

Teaching Areas:
Semiconductor Physics, Semiconductor Fabrication, Semiconductor Devices, Medical Imaging Physics, and related courses.

Eligible Fields:
Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or other related science and engineering disciplines.

Required Qualifications

  1. Applicants must support the educational mission of Fu Jen Catholic University, adhere to the University’s ethical principles, and actively participate in its holistic educational programs that emphasize intellectual, personal, and spiritual development. Faculty members are expected to help cultivate and transmit these values to students and contribute to the University’s academic community and culture.
  2. Areas of Expertise:
  • (a) Semiconductor physics (experimental background preferred), semiconductor devices, semiconductor fabrication, or related fields; or
  • (b) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), medical imaging physics, biomedical imaging analysis, or related fields.
  1. The Department has established Semiconductor and MRI laboratories, and applicants with relevant research expertise are encouraged to join and contribute to the development of these signature laboratories.
  2. A Ph.D. degree from a domestic or international institution.
  3. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and supervise students.
  4. Ability to teach physics-related courses and willingness to participate in departmental teaching, research, and service.
  5. Ability to assist in developing Semiconductor or MRI research laboratories is highly desirable.
  6. Experience with government-funded research projects (e.g., NSTC), international collaborations, or industry-academic collaborations is preferred.
  7. Ability to teach courses in English is required.
