【Recent trends in computer simulation in Physics, Chemistry and Biology 】
Atomistic and Molecular Simulations在推動物理、化學及生物學基礎現象的理解上,擁有深遠的影響。近年來,隨著硬體運算能力(如 CPU、GPU、TPU)的成長,以及軟體技術(如機器學習勢能、多尺度模擬)的突破,計算科學已進化為功能強大的新型工具,能為科學家提供前所未有的模擬精度與系統細節。
本研討會旨在匯聚相關領域的頂尖專家,不僅討論模擬技術的最新進展,更核心的目標是探討如何運用這些新興工具,解決過往的科學難題。除了特邀演講外,本研討會特別為年輕研究人員(包括博士後研究員、博士生等)設有發聲平台,提供短篇口頭發表與海報展示的機會,鼓勵來自不同背景的學術新秀分享研究成果,並與同儕及前輩建立學術連結。

【Recent trends in computer simulation in Physics, Chemistry and Biology 】
Applications of atomistic and molecular simulations has a long history in advancing our understanding of fundamental phenomena in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Recent rapid developments in both hardware (CPU, GPU, TPU) and software (machine-learning potential, multi-scale simulation) enable new powerful tools to provide unprecedented precisions and details. In this workshop, we aim to bring experts in these fields to discuss not only the recent developments but also how to leverage on these new tools to address important scientific questions that are possible only synergetic interaction across scientific disciplines. We also have room for junior researchers (post-doc, Ph.D students,..) from different fields to give short oral presentations along with their posters.
