Article 1 Basis for Establishment
This enforcement rules are established in compliance with the Article 23 of the Constitution of the Physical Society of Taiwan: “the Society can establish all forms of committees, groups, or other internal organizations; the articles or any amendments are established by the Board of Directors and implemented with the approval of competent authority”.

Article 2 Organizational Structure
(1) The Division of Academy, Division of Development, Division of Publication, and Division of Finance and Personnel are established under the Board of Directors (and Supervisors).
(2) A director is in charge of each aforementioned division, and must render a report to the Board of Directors annually. In case of important events, the general affair committee has the right to invite all directors of other divisions to present an oral report during the meeting, and submit the results to the Board of Directors.

Article 3 Establishment of Divisions

(1) Division of Academy

A. Organization
No more than 15 committee members are established, and the members are offered a term of two years in the Division of Academy; the committee members can be re-elected. The president and vice-president are the ex-officio members; other committee members are elected by the Board of Directors. The expertise of the academic committee members should cover the main current research fields of physics. A director of general affairs is appointed by the president as the director of the Division of Academy. Other fellows may be invited to join in the division.
B. Mission
1. Host or co-organize all kinds of national academic activities related to physics.
2. Plan academic activities for the annual meeting.
3. Establish contact with related academic organizations.
4. Assist in promoting international academic communication and cooperation.
5. Establish and amend all rules for academic incentives.
6. Implement and promote the affairs related to academic activities.

C. Summoning Meetings

Meetings of the division are to be summoned at least twice a year; the director is the convener. Extraordinary meetings are to be summoned if necessary.


(2) Division of Development

A. Organization
1. No more than 15 committee members are established, and the members are offered the term of two years in the Division of Development; the committee members can be re-elected. The president and vice-president are the ex-officio members; other committee members are elected by the Board of Directors, including one director of general affairs and five directors. The vice-president is the director of the division.
2. The membership committee, international affairs committee, Committee on Women in Physics, physics education committee, and public affairs committee are established within each division. Other functional committees and working groups may be established. Additionally, the directors, supervisors, and fellows can participate.
3. After the approval of the Board of Directors or the cosigning of more than 50 members, a working group may be established with the approval of the Board of Directors.
4.When the working group is established for over three years, the Board of Directors could reshuffle it into a committee or to dismiss based on effectiveness.
5.After the approval by the Division of Development, the enforcement rules or any amendments of each committee and working group could be implemented once submitted to the Board of Directors for further approval.

B. Mission
1. Deliberation on the enforcement rules of the committees and working groups, and submit to the Board of Directors for reference.
2. The conveners of committees and working groups should report to the division every half year.
3. The director of the division should report the work of the committees and working groups to the Board of Directors.
4. Supervise the function of the committees and working groups.

C. Summoning Meetings
Meetings of the division are to be summoned at least twice a year; the director is the convener. Extraordinary meetings are to be summoned if necessary.



(3) Division of Publication

A. Organization
1. No more than 15 committee members are established, and the members are offered the term of two years in the Division of Publication; the committee members can be re-elected. The president, the vice-president, the responsible officer of the network, the chief editor, and the deputy editor in chief of the journal and the bimonthly are the ex-officio members; other committee members are elected by the board, including one director of general affairs and three to five directors. Other fellows are invited to join the division. A director of general affair is to be appointed by the president as the director of the division.
2. An editorial committee of the journal, an editorial committee of the bimonthly, and the network working group is established under the division. The convener of the network working group is engaged by the director of the division.

B. Mission
1. Deliberation on the enforcement rules of the committees and working groups, and submit them to the Board of Directors for reference.
2. The conveners of the committees and working groups should report to the division every half year.
3. The director of the division should report the work of the committees and working groups to the Board of Directors.
4. Supervise the function of the committees and working groups.
5. Plan and execute the publication of the journals of the Society.
6. Manage and maintain the website of the Society.
7. Promote external link for the journals of the Society.

Meetings of the division are to be summoned at least twice a year; the director is the convener. Extraordinary meetings are to be summoned if necessary.



(4) Division of Finance and Personnel

A. Organization
No more than nine committee members are established, and the members are offered the term of one year in the Division of Finance and Personnel; the committee members can be re-elected. The president and the vice-president are the ex-officio members; other committee members are elected by the Board, including one director of general affairs, two directors, and one supervisor. The president is the director of the division. A chief executive officer may be employed.

B. Mission
1.In charge of financial planning and management, project application, and funding verification. An accounting consultant and a legal counsel may be employed.
2.Establish and execute the rules of staff recruitment, staff appraisal, staff promotion, and personnel-related system.
3. Report personnel and financial conditions to the General Affairs Committee.
4. Develop resources and promote physics education and research.

C. Summoning Meetings
Meetings of the division are to be summoned at least twice a year; the director is the convener. Provisional meetings are to be summoned if necessary.


Article 4 Exercise of Personnel Consent Power in the Board of Directors
The personnel recruitment of the committees in the Division of Academy, Division of Development, Division of Finance and Personnel, and the chief editor and the deputy editor in chief for the Chinese Journal of Physics and Physics Bimonthly should be completed in the first meeting of the annual meetings of Board of Directors.

Article 5 Funding Source of Each Division
Except the committees and working groups founded by the Society, all other committees and working groups found by cosigning are self-financing unless receiving the approval of the General Affairs Committee.

Article 6 Establishment of Contact Person
In order to communicate with members and promote the Society, a contact person may be selected by the Board of Directors in organizations or areas with more membership. The term is one year, and the contact person may be re-elected.

Article 7 Members Access to the Journal
All members are offered electronic news letters from the Society and Physics Bimonthly, and web-based Physics Bimonthly.

Article 8 Solicit for Director and Supervisor Candidates and the Opinions on the Affairs of the Society
Each year, the Board of Directors should solicit for candidates for directors and supervisors and the opinions pertaining to the affairs of the Society.

Article 9 Promulgation of the Constitution and Enforcement Rules
Current constitution and enforcement rules should be promulgated on the Physics Bimonthly each year by the Board of Directors.

Article 10 Implementation Period of the Rules
The rules are implemented with the approval of the Board of Directors.
