Guidelines for the Poster Competition Review for the Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan(TPS)

- Participants in the Poster Paper Award must be students or research assistants (including postdoctoral researchers). They must be the main author and on-site presenter of the paper, and must indicate their intention to participate when registering for the annual meeting.
- The number of Outstanding Poster Awards shall be based on approximately three percent of the total number of poster papers, and the number of Merit Awards shall be based on approximately ten percent of the total number of poster papers.
- The organizing unit shall appoint several review committee members and select a convener responsible for holding meetings. The review committee shall hold two meetings: the first to report and discuss the evaluation method, and the second for formal scoring and discussion.
- Evaluation items include poster layout and design (20%), academic value (40%), and clarity and quality of the on-site presentation (40%).
- Each Outstanding Poster Award winner will receive a cash prize of NT$3,000 and a certificate. Each Merit Award winner will receive a certificate.
- The list of award-winning poster papers shall be announced before the closing ceremony of the annual meeting.
- These regulations shall take effect after approval by the Academic Affairs Division and the Board of Directors. The same procedure shall apply to future amendments.
